Hotel Information:

  • A credit card will be collected by the hotel at check in for incidentals.  Incidentals include, but is not limited to all alcoholic beverages in the room, and meals the weekend before and after the conference.  This also includes all charges for your guest(s).

Conference Details:

  • Download the app to review the conference agenda – (Instructions will be sent out this week)
  • Money: Bring some cash for small expenses and tips.
  • Credit/Debit Cards: Inform your bank of your travel dates to avoid any issues with card usage.

 

Health and Safety:

  • Make sure you reviewed health & safety information on the event website
  • Medications: Bring an ample supply of any prescribed medications you may need.
  • Travel Health Kit: Pack essentials like pain relievers, antacids, band-aids, etc.

 

Weather and Clothing:

  • Pack appropriate clothing for the climate and themed events (Beach Party - Your favorite tropical outfit, all-white-attire gala, etc.)
  • Casual Business Attire: For conference sessions and meetings.  It will be hot so please bring light clothing but a sweater for indoor areas
  • Beachwear/resort wear: For leisure time and relaxation by the ocean.
  • Sandals / Flip flops
  • For CSR events, bring clothes that you can get dirty. (If you do not think you will have time to change after the conference, you can wear the outfit to the conference on your scheduled CSR date).

 

Sun Protection:

  • Sunscreen: Bring high SPF sunscreen to protect against strong sun rays.
  • Sunglasses and Hat: For additional sun protection.
  • Insect Repellent: Mosquito repellent can be handy, especially for outdoor activities.

 

Language:

  • Learn some basic Spanish phrases to ease communication with locals.
